How would a society behave
if the Leviathan were summoned?
We have such a monster in our day,
but we are still gluttons.
Not by guns and swords we rob
our neighbors belongings and more,
but by coins and words we rob
in an all-on-all "natural" war.
If we shall return to anarchy,
what great joy and frenzy and the strong shall enjoy a rampage unruled by anyone and band up to form a tyranny,
exercising their power to form a monopoly of resources and create many bloodshed along the intersection of factions without a care of order.
Sin.
If we shall move on "towards" socialism,
we shall be careful to "undoublethink"
because it is "doubleplusungood"
and find a way to be "free" from "good" and "bb."
Love should be taught and not enforced,
should be admired and not forced down one's throat,
should be a visible example and not just words fading away on the stone.
It is most enduring when acted out in fleeting actions,
most dead when merely carved on eternal rock.
